MCOHA aims to help improve the lives of Hispanic and low-income residents by providing direct social services, education, and client advocacy. We strive to inspire hope and community integration. The private, nonprofit organization was started in 1976 by seven concerned individuals who saw that Dover’s growing Hispanic population was not getting the help they needed to become self-sufficient and engaged in the community. Since then, Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs (MCOHA) has evolved to become a known and trusted resource for more than 12,000 Hispanic and low-income residents each year. IFPN provides Morris County Offices of Hispanic Affairs with motel bags. They contain food that can be prepared with minimal effort or no preparation for persons sheltered in a motel or experiencing homelessness. Easy mac, foods with pop-top lids, shelf-stable milk, PB&J and bread, etc. They do not include pasta, sauce, or anything that requires a great deal of preparation. More information.
