Get Food

If you or someone you know needs food in Morris County, we’re here to help.

DUE TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN, SNAP (Supplemental Nurition Assistance Program, a.k.a. Food Stamp) BENEFITS WILL BE DELAYED OR UNPAID IN NOVEMBER.
It remains unclear how long benefits will be impacted.

If you are a SNAP recipient in need of food on a temporary basis until your benefits resume, please call our office at 973-538-8049 x210.  Emergency food will be distributed Monday-Thursday between 3:00 and 4:30pm at our 2 Executive Drive location located in Morris Plains.  You will be asked to bring your EBT card OR your connect EBT app as proof of loss of benefits.

If you need help on an ongoing basis and wish to enroll in our program, the process remains the same.  Please call our office at 973-538-8049 x210, to schedule an intake interview.  Note that additional documentation is required.

A note to our supporters:  Thanks to you, we are in a position of strength to meet what will likely be an unprecedented need in our community.  We are making preparations for an emergency response while also preparing to distribute more than 2,500 turkeys and sides in November.  If you are inclined, please consider making a contribution to our annual appeal.  Your support is appreciated now more than ever!
